Mrs. Manee Chavanich
The Founder
|
My determination to establish
a higher education institution was a consequence of my warm and
happy family life under the Thai monarchy, the Buddhist religion
as well as the country of Thailand as a whole. The establishment
of Eastern Asia University is an attempt to contribute to the society
from which I have had the privilege of receiving a good education
and which has helped to bring prosperity to myself and to my family.
Therefore, this is my commitment and opportunity giving back educational
value to the generation of our future society.
It is not unusual to experience
problems during the early stages in the establishment of a university.
However, with the greatest contribution, as well as commitment from
colleagues, the university has grown and has progressed as planned.
Overall, results have been more than satisfactory. Our institution
has played an important role in providing educational opportunities
to a large group of students from all over the country, with the
goal of improving their creativity and broadening their minds, so
that can become good citizens of the Thailand, as well as the international
community.
I would like to wish the management
and all those involved in this endeavor, happiness and prosperity.
I hope that, together, they will bring about lasting progress to
Eastern Asia University.

Eastern Asia University is an institution for
higher education, with the aim of developing human resources for
the country as well as for the international community. The students
will be equipped with the deep knowledge and a high standard of
ethics, that society expects of them. They will also develop their
ability to utilize their knowledge and acquire analytical skills
for problem solving. This will carry over into the workplace, when
they will get the opportunity to use their newly-acquired skills.
Eastern Asia University has attained its initial
goals, as planned during its first phase of operations. However,
developments in several areas are planned for implementation in
the following phases. Facilities, human resources and courses will
be improved further. Contacts and cooperation with foreign universities
for academic excellence will be established. We are prepared to
admit students from universities in Europe, the USA, and especially,
other educational institutions in Asia.
Success in all areas of operations is the result
of close cooperation co-operation between all interested parties.
The unity formed within the university has been our unique and valuable
asset from the start. This quality is highly valued and will be
preserved in the face of globalization. Our students will wish to
achieve not only progress in the material world, but also mental
development, which is just as important. Both will be placed at
the highest level of priorities at Eastern Asia University.
I would like to take this opportunity to humbly
request the king of Thailand and all members of the royal family,
as well as all sacred beings revered by all, to give their protection
and blessings to those who have brought progress to the Thai educational
system.
